I love that Dean eventually does start to open up, even if it takes a while. He’s willing to tell his brother he’s proud of him even though his own father never modeled that behavior. It can’t be easy for Dean to share feelings and sentiment even with his brother but he tries because he knows how much it means to the people he loves to hear the words.
